These terms govern your use of Handi (the "Platform"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Handi.
1. The Platform
Handi connects people seeking services ("Seekers") with people offering services ("Providers"). Handi is a venue only — the actual service is performed between Seeker and Provider. Handi is not a party to that agreement.
2. Eligibility
You must be 18 or older and able to enter into a binding contract. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your account secure.
3. Conduct
- No illegal services. No services involving discrimination, harassment, or harm.
- Don't use Handi to spam, scam, or solicit off-platform payment to evade reviews and protections.
- Be honest in your profile, descriptions, quotes, and reviews.
4. Reviews
Reviews must reflect a genuine experience tied to a completed job. We may remove reviews that violate these terms.
5. Disputes between users
Handi may try to mediate disputes, but is not obligated to do so. Final resolution rests between Seeker and Provider.
6. Limitation of liability
Handi is provided "as is." We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of services provided by Providers. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Handi is not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You can delete your account at any time from the profile page (a 30-day grace period applies).
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
